Waiting for the end - Linkin Park

Hello everyone, it's been a little while since I posted here, so here you go...

Linkin Park have been my favorite band for more than 10 years now, their songs always touched me in a weird way, as I always got related with their lyrics..

Anyway, last night I was listening to Linkin Park's latest album up to date (March 1st, 2011) and found out there was something special about a specific song.. "Waiting for the end". So today, the first thing I did after getting out of bed was check out its lyrics.

Then I felt a lot of things I don't usually feel with songs.. It's been a long since a song talked so directly to me..

I wrote down all the lyrics added all the chords, and a while after, I started playing it on my guitar.. I know it can be found online but this is my version. I think it sounds pretty nice and my voice fits with it correctly, plus I love playing and singing it. So here it is for anyone who feels differently while listening at the melody and the strong lyrics of "Waiting for the end" from Linkin Park's latest album "A Thousand Suns".

Intro: E5 (Repeatedly for rhythm)
This is not the end, this is not the beginning
Just a voice like a riot, rocking every revision
But you listen to the tone and the violent rhythm
Though the words sound steady, something empty's with them

We say yeah, with fists flying up in the air
Like we're holding onto something that's invisible there
Cause we're living at the mercy of the pain and the fear
Until we're dead, forget it, let it all disappear..

Verse 1:
E
Waiting for the end to come
Asus2
Wishing I had strength to stand
C#m
This is not what I have planned
Asus2 Bsus2
It's out of my control

E
Flying at the speed of light
Asus2
Thoughts were spinning in my head
C#m
So many things were left unsaid
Asus2 Bsus2
It's hard to let you go

Bridge:
C#m Asus2
I know what it takes to move on
C#m Asus2
I know what it feels to lie

Chorus:
E Bsus2
All I wanna do is trade this life for something new
C#m Asus2 E
Holding on to what I haven't got

Verse 2:
E
Sitting in an empty room
Asus2
Trying to forget the past
C#m
This was never meant to last
Asus2 Bsus2
I wish it wasn't so

(Bridge)

Outro: E5 (Repeatedly for rhythm)
What was left when the fire was gone
I thought it felt right but that right was wrong
All caught up in the eye of the storm
And trying to figure out what it's like moving on

And I don't even know what kind of things I said
My mouth kept moving and my mind went dead
Picking up those pieces now where to begin
The hardest part of ending is starting again

(Chorus) E5 E5 C#m Bsus2

(Intro) E5 E5 C#m Bsus2

Feel free to comment if you can feel it..!
